AAA Spring Meeting

On May 6-7, 2009, the Allied Agents Association conducted its Spring Meeting in the Chicago area.  Of the over 150 attendees most were the principal Agent owners of Allied Van Lines agencies.

The focus of the meeting was designed to inform the Agent Principals regarding issues of importance to the agency system.  The structure of the meeting centered on committee reports such as Marketing, Hauling, Quality, IT, International, Military and Special Products.

In addition to the committee reports, there was an update on the Agency Contract negotiations.  Lastly, there were various reports from SIRVA, Inc. senior management designed to update the Agent Principals concerning financial status, marketing initiatives, and plans for the future.

The past practice of issuing CD’s of numerous power point presentations was deemed to be ineffective.  Further, the meeting content is proprietary in nature, timely, and designed for face-to-face communications.
